I’m an Iraqi-American filmmaker, VFX artist, and 3D designer. Film and visual effects are at the centre of my practice.
My work connects cinematic FX, CG imagery, and storytelling, alongside photography and personal art studies.
From Baghdad
to imagined worlds.
Born in Baghdad, I moved to Jordan at 17 and studied 3D Animation at SAE Institute Jordan. In Los Angeles, I trained at Gnomon School of Visual Effects, specialising in Houdini FX. My work was selected for Gnomon’s Best of Term multiple times.
My experience spans freelance and studio production, commercials, and film and television, including work at MPC and projects for Microsoft Bing. After living and working in Montreal, I’m now based in Australia, focused on original short films and visual effects.
